It is time for Claremore football’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

The annual Pigskin Pig Out, hosted by the Claremore High School Quarterback Club, is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Lantow Field parking lot. The event is switching to a “grab-n-go” format due to the current COVID-19 situation.

It will be set up drive-thru style so people don’t have to leave their cars.

The QBC will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and bottled water for $10. Billy Sims’ Barbecue is sponsoring the event.

Servers will be following safety protocols to ensure the safety of all workers and patrons.

QBC President Rusty Robertson encourages those interested to sign up ahead of time on the ‘Claremore QBC’ Facebook page, but tickets will be sold the day of the fundraiser as well.

This fundraiser will help the football program meet its needs for the 2020 season.
