Claremore Swim Team

Junior Kaylee Ward and Freshman Sylvia Admire earned their stripes at last weekend's swimming (6A) East Regional Championship.

Ward grabbed sixth place in the 200 Freestyle and swam to a top ten finish in the 100 Freestyle. This secured Ward's second-straight trip to the state meet.

Admire raced to first-place finishes in the 200 Freestyle and 500 Freestyle, giving her two regional titles. This will be Admire's first trip to the state meet.

Ward and Admire will match up against Oklahoma's best high school swimmers at the state meet in Jenks on Feb. 21-22.

The Lady Zebras swim under the direction of coach/sponsors Kim Ward and Duwayne King.
