Claremore dropped three spots to No. 10 in Class 5A in the latest Oklahoma High School Football AP Poll released Monday afternoon.

Much of the top six stayed put with only a couple of alterations.

Bishop McGuinness jumped Duncan for the No. 2 spot, and Edison — despite defeating Claremore 27-6 — dropped one spot to sixth, while El Reno moved up No. 5.

Carl Albert and Tahlequah remained at first and fourth, respectively.

The Zebras begin District 5A-4 action at No. 8 Collinsville on Friday night.

Oologah came in at No. 10 as well in the Class 4A, dropping five spots after a 32-29 loss to Hilldale.

The Hornets re-entered the poll at No. 8 after spending a week unranked following a loss to Checotah in Week 2.

The Mustangs (2-1) hosts Cleveland on Friday night in their District 4A-3 opener.

Although Verdigris received votes last week, the Cardinals are unranked this week after pummeling Stilwell, 50-23, on Homecoming Night.

Verdigris (2-1) welcomes traditional District 3A-4 power Cascia Hall on Friday night.
