Oologah built a 31-0 lead before settling for a 38-10 victory over Grove Friday.
The win helps the Mustangs keep pace in District 4A-3. They are in a three-way tie with Bristow and Wagoner with one game left. The Zebras play Catoosa in Week 10. All four teams have clinched a playoff berth.

Wagoner opened the scoring with a 27-yard field goal by Mayson Powell. A 43-yard pass from Blake Salt to Ty Dixon made it 10-0 late in the first quarter.
Salt then threw two touchdowns in the second quarter, a 35-yarder to Jared Taylor and a 13-yarder to Brennen Davis. It was 24-0 at the half.
Salt scored on an 11-yard run in the third.
Grove finally got on the board early in the fourth on a 51-yard pass from Greg McCurdy to Kadian Forbis, but Salt answered with a four-yard TD run. Megan Gibbs kicked a 22-yard field goal for Grove in the final seconds.
Salt threw for 184 yards and three TDs. The Mustangs ran for 181 yards. Salt had two TD runs.
Locust Grove 32, Verdigris 17 — The Cardinals had just cut the Locust Grove lead to 19-17 midway through the third quarter, but the Pirates scored the game’s final 13 points. Verdigris quarterback Brant Hager threw for 173 yards and two scores, both TD passes going to Toby Willis. The Cards ran for 91 yards on 35 carries.
Verdigris must either upset undefeated Berryhill Friday, or have Locust Grove beat Vinita to make the playoffs.
Vinita 31, Inola 27 — Vinita took an early lead and Inola could never quite catch up Friday.
After allowing Vinita to take a 14-0 lead, the Horns began fighting back. Jordan Lane scored on a 7-yard pass from Landen Prows and Dalton Norman caught a 9-yarder from Prows to tie the game at 14. Price Ward kicked a 43-yard field goal and Darrius Morgan returned an Inola fumble 13 yards for a score.
Danny Brockup scored for Inola for a 24-21 Vinita halftime lead. Kenyon Downing scored on an 83-yard run in the third to give Vinita a 31-21 lead. Prows threw his third TD of the game in the fourth quarter, this time to Norman for the game’s final points.
