The Rogers County Rangers are as hot as the early-June temperatures.

The Claremore-based American Legion majors team blistered Stillwater, 15-6, Thursday night at Legion Field.

It was the second night in a row that the Rangers have run-ruled an opponent. And, for the second straight night, the Rangers’ bats broke out with 15 hits.

Harrison Mendez followed Foster on the mound, allowing two runs with three strikeouts in two innings. Jared Peper struck out two in a scoreless seventh to close things out for the Rangers.

Cade McKewon drove in three of the Rangers’ runs and scored three times. Ben Kozma contributed two hits, two RBIs and three runs scored. Jeff Thompson hit a two-run home run and had four RBIs.

The Rangers, 7-2, travel to Bartlesville tonight for an 8 p.m. game. They return home with Bartlesville at 6 p.m. Sunday at Legion Field.
