Rogers State University gets it done on the field and in the classroom.
It was a record-setting spring semester for Hillcat student-athletes, for all 12 programs (baseball, softball, men’s/women’s basketball, men’s/women’s cross-country, men’s/women’s track and field, men’s/women’s golf, men’s/women’s soccer) averaged at least a 3.3 grade-point average. Eight logged 3.5 GPAs or higher.
The top-five programs are as follows: men’s golf, women’s basketball, dance, men’s cross-country and track and women’s soccer.
In all, RSU set new top marks for average GPA, percentage of student-athletes with a 3.0 GPA and total number of 4.0s.
Student-athletes averaged a 3.58 GPA while 61 tallied 4.0 semesters. Ninety-three percent of student-athletes finished with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
A total of 48 degrees were earned after the completion of the semester.
