Claremore volleyball celebrates after sweeping five matches to win the Holland Hall Tournament this past weekend. Maddie Hardage (8) was named to the All-Tournament team.

Claremore volleyball is on quite a run.

The Lady Zebras competed in the Holland Hall Tournament over the weekend, winning the event with five-straight match wins.

Claremore defeated Wright Christian (3-0), Rejoice Christian (3-0), Christian Heritage (3-2), Casady (3-0) and Cascia Hall (3-1) on the way to the title.

Maddie Hardage was named to the All-Tournament team, tallying a total of 39 kills and 22 blocks during the tournament.

Becca Hilmes (12 aces, 45 digs), Kinley Williams (12 aces, 22 digs), Brooke Jones (7 aces, 43 kills, 10 blocks, 58 digs), Riley Renfroe (8 aces, 155 assists, 15 digs), Hailey Charles (30 kills, 7 blocks) and Hailey Grant (28 kills, 15 kills) also had standout performances.

Coach Victoria Giron’s squad followed the strong showing with a sweep of Catoosa — 25-18, 25-16, 25-19 — on Monday night.

Jones led the team with 14 kills and 15 digs, while Hardage and Grant tallied seven kills, five blocks and six kills, four blocks, respectively.

Renfroe was close behind with five kills, 11 digs and 35 assists, and Hilmes had 18 digs and six assists.

Maria Nunez finished with six digs.

Claremore, 8-2 overall, rides a seven-match win streak into its matchup with Rogers County foe Inola (7-5) at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
