Claremore volleyball went up a class and swept Bixby — 26-24, 25-18, 25-16 — in its home opener on Thursday night.

The Lady Zebras are now 15-5 overall and take a two-match winning streak into its matchup with Stillwater at 7 p.m. Monday.

Brook Jones tallied 10 kills, two blocks and 13 digs to lead Claremore, and Hailey Charles managed nine kills and three blocks.

Also ratcheting up impressive numbers were Haily Grant and Maddie Hardage.

Grant finished with six kills and four blocks, while Hardage notched four kills, five blocks and four aces.

Assisting Hardage in serving the Lady Spartans a loss were Kinley Williams and Becca Hilmes, who accounted for three and two aces, respectively.

Elsewhere, Riley Renfroe accumulated 29 assists and five digs.
