TULSA — Perennial volleyball power Bishop Kelley is tough to beat, especially on their home court, as the Lady Comets defeated visiting Claremore Tuesday night in three straight sets.
Kelley, ranked No. 2 in Class 5A, was in control the entire match, winning 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 over the No. 9 Claremore.
The Lady Zebras drop to 6-7 on the season as they prepare for visiting Muskogee Thursday night. The match begins at approximately 6 p.m. They will then play at the Catoosa Tournament Friday and Saturday.
In other scores, No. 6 Regent Prep defeated Catoosa 25-19, 25-12, 25-16; Chouteau-Mazie swept Claremore Christian 25-16, 25-18, 25-8; Tahlequah Sequoyah took three from Inola; and in a Rogers County battle, it was Verdigris over Oologah 25-13, 25-19, 26-24.
